Every safety bed we provide represents more than a piece of equipment—it represents a family who can finally sleep, a child who is safer at night, and a community that showed up in love.
Since launching A Bed for Izzy in October 2024, we have had the privilege of walking alongside families across Missouri as they faced overwhelming safety challenges at night. These stories reflect what happens when faith, community, and action come together.

2024 - Where It All Began
1 Safety Bed Funded
A Bed for Izzy was born from a simple but urgent need: a child who could not sleep safely, and a family searching for help. In our founding year, we funded our very first safety bed—proving that this mission mattered and that the community was willing to rally.
That single bed laid the foundation for everything that followed.

2025 - A Year Beyond What We Imagined
13 Safety Beds Fully Funded
In 2025, we set a goal to fund four safety beds. By the end of the year, we had funded thirteen—far exceeding what we thought possible in our first full calendar year.
Each bed represented a child with complex needs, a family stretched thin, and a community that stepped in to help carry the burden. Through individual campaigns, local fundraisers, business partnerships, and generous donors, families across Missouri gained safe sleep—and with it, renewed hope.
2026 - Continuing the Mission
Beds Currently Being Funded
As we move forward into 2026, the need continues to grow. Families are still waiting. Children are still sleeping in unsafe conditions. And our work is far from finished.
We are actively funding safety beds this year and sharing each child’s story as their campaign opens. Every new success story begins with awareness, prayer, and a community willing to respond.
